5. Water  

 

Are you getting enough water throughout the day? Many people neglect this act, even though staying hydrated is critical for survival.

Drinking enough water will help with headache prevention and body temperature regulation, will enhance mental and physical presentation, and will keep your tissues moist. When you’re dehydrated, you won’t be able to perform to your best abilities.

Not only that, you might be irritable and dizzy. Extreme dehydration could be fatal! Make sure to drink 64 ounces of water per day. 

4. Stress Management 

 

 

Managing stress is a really important coping skill. While we cannot predict or control the stressors in our lives, we can control our responses.


What are a few actions you can take to feel better when you’re feeling anxious? You could try meditating, calling a friend, taking a hot shower, going for a run, dancing, or playing with your dog.

Take note of the things you do in your life that bring a smile to your face. Now do more of them!

Eating too much fish is not a good idea because certain fish carry mercury. Once every week, cook up some salmon, mackerel, or trout!

When you eat less sugar, you’ll feel more energized! Sugar can lead to body inflammation, headaches, fatigue, and moodiness. It’s so easy to get addicted to eating sugar.

Kicking this habit is no easy task. Once you do finally kick sugar for good, your body will thank you. You’ll be better able to focus and feel more in tune with your body’s natural hunger and satiation cues.
